Joan Heid, President and CEO, provides the leadership, qualified personnel and the necessary corporate resources to ensure MCB’s continued success. Ms. Heid along with her two partners founded MCB in 1994. Ms. Heid has extensive experience in managing large scale contracts in many States in the nation and she is an industry leader who has received multiple commendations for her outstanding work. Ms. Heid provides an elevated level of managerial, business, and administrative ability, including expertise in quickly deploying the organization to meet the requirements of a contract. Ms. Heid holds a bachelor’s degree from the Marshall School of Business from the University of Southern California.
Michael Ryan, Vice President, is one of the three founding owners of MCB and has wide-ranging real estate knowledge and experience especially within the construction and environmental safety industries. Mr. Ryan has provided significant contributions to the successful execution of property maintenance and management contracts specifically those contracts for the Department of Housing and Urban Development. Mr. Ryan is also actively engaged in building a portfolio of REO to Rental properties.
Firmin Boul, Secretary-Treasurer, is a California Real Estate Broker and serves as the principle broker for MCB. Mr. Boul has the skills and knowledge to negotiate and close real estate transactions and is thoroughly knowledgeable in legal issues that affect real estate transfers. He also possesses a broad lending background prior to being a founding owner of MCB. Mr. Boul has a degree in Economics from Central Missouri State University.
Kerry Neterer, Executive Director, is a results-orientated visionary leader with more than 30 years of real estate experience, including more than 16 years with MCB. Mr. Neterer has the responsibility of day-to-day direction and management of existing contracts in multiple states throughout the nation. He has extensive knowledge of real property assets and mortgagee compliance as well as being technically competent in credit and financial analysis. Mr. Neterer’s education includes attending the University of Alaska.
David Dowell, Director of Corporate Accounting, is one of the first members of MCB’s management team. He was instrumental in establishing the accounting infrastructure and is responsible for all phases of finance and accounting, banking, and financial analysis. He also has significant capability in supervising audit procedures and processes. Mr. Dowell holds a bachelor’s degree in Accounting from California State University, Los Angeles.
Josh Kogler, Information Technology Director, has been employed with MCB since 2003 and is responsible for maintaining all operating systems, server technology, security, and telephone systems. Mr. Kogler oversees all hardware and software applications, document management systems as well as developing and implement new IT strategies. Mr. Kogler holds a bachelor’s degree from Claremont McKenna College.
Ann Woods, Director of Sales and Marketing, has more than 20 years of sales, marketing, finance, and compliance experience. She has program and project management leadership experience and directs cross-functional marketing efforts for evaluating and pursuing new business opportunities. She also has an extensive financial background within the real estate, mortgage, and banking industries. Ms. Woods holds a bachelor’s degree from the Marshall School of Business from the University of Southern California.
Julie Killeen, Human Resources Director, has been employed with MCB for over 15 years and has responsibility for recruiting and hiring, training, employee development, and retention. She also administers employee benefits, health insurance plans, compensation and performance management plans. She is extremely knowledgeable of compliance matters and prepares all required government reports. Ms. Killeen’s education includes attending New Jersey State University, New Jersey and Berkeley Business School, New York.
Ralph Muniz, Accounting Manager, has been employed with MCB since 2009 and is responsible for overseeing the day-to-day financial operations of the accounting department. Mr. Muniz directs the department’s training and all staff supervision. He is also responsible for forecasts, budget administration, financial reporting, and special projects. Mr. Muniz holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration from California State University, Los Angeles.
Pam Pounds, Director of Client Logistics & Client Communications, joined MCB in 2008 and is responsible for the development of consultant materials, client communication and education. Ms. Pounds also manages the logistics of our client and industry events. In addition to client services, she has broad experience with mortgagee compliance. Ms. Pounds holds a bachelor’s degree in Business Management from the University of Phoenix.
Aubree Boul, Director of Business Solutions, has been with MCB since 2001, with full-time employment starting in 2012. She is responsible for organizational and program analysis and is integral to MCB’s business procurement efforts. Ms. Boul has a deep understanding of Real Estate and REO management, and is highly skilled in data analysis, project management, and organizational design. Ms. Boul earned an MBA and a bachelor’s degree in marketing from the Daniels School of Business at the University of Denver.
