HUD Approved Non-Profits
receive a discount on purchasing HUD properties. This discount
is between 10% and 30% off the purchase price of the property
and is based on the insurablity and location of the property.
The Non-profit agency MUST be a HUD Registered Non-Profit
Agency to qualify for the discount for more information on

to become an Approved Non-Profit (housing)
List of Approved
Non-Profits (REO Purchases): Non-profit agencies
approved to do business with HUD/FHA get approval for placement
on the non-profit roster from the appropriate HUD Homeownership
Center. Each Homeownership Center maintains a roster of approved
non-profit agencies for its jurisdiction.

HUD Approved (registered) Non-Profits
receive a 30% discount if purchasing a property that is located
in a revitilization area and listed Uninsurable (not available
for FHA Financing). If the property being purchased is not
in a revitilization area or is listed FHA insurable the HUD
Approved Non-Profit will receive a 10% discount on the HUD
property purchase.
